Insight of the Week #03 – When Not To Clean Code

Sometimes, I put myself under a lot of pressure, when facing some code that doesn’t look like I like it. I spent much time trying to fix that, because I’m not really sure where to go with it. JBrains told me, that when facing such situations, I should really let it go (for now). Put a comment to the code, if it makes me feel better, but leave it as is. When I continue, write more tests, evolve the system, the solution will present itself eventually. This saves time and energy, both in the short and the long run.
